Here’s a thought for the new week. I’ve said it before in various ways, but it’s fresh on my mind tonight.

It’s not hard for me to find wonder and reality in books. It’s not hard to invest in ink on paper and characters whom I’ve never met – rather I find it quite delightful.

It’s not hard because the Person whom I love most has been revealed to me in a Book, and I see His glory in a Book, and have come to know Him personally because of a Book. The greatest wonder I have ever known, and ultimate Reality, has been declared to me in a Book.

The Bible, and its subject, Jesus Christ, shine light in which all words can become wonderful and all stories can become great…if we have eyes to see.
