More Stimulating and Bolder

The children of this world are not only (as Christ so caustically observed) wiser in their generation than the children of light; they are also more energetic, more stimulating and bolder.

Dorothy Sayers, The Triumph of Easter, from Creed or Chaos?, p. 8

That summarizes how I feel many afternoons as I flip the radio back and forth from NPR to Christian radio. It should not be so.

Is there reasons why its like this? When Jesus spoke, what did he mean by wisdom and what does Dorothy sayers mean by more stimulating and bolder. I can see how that attains to the radio and the information proceeding to stimulate ones hearers.

Yes but can you say more on this?

I was never able to find the full book online. I ordered it used from Amazon because I heard someone quote it in a talk and it sounded interesting. I honestly wouldn’t say that the book is worth the price that it is going for on Amazon right now. It’s fine, but it hasn’t lived up to my expectations. The Mind of the Maker is a much better book, and it costs less.
